LUCIE FAUCON
Born in 1996, Lucie Faucon has been developing her ceramic practice for over a decade. Trained in ceramics at Sèvres, she has established a distinctive artistic language centred on colour through the research, formulation and development of her own glazes.
After several years working in the Aveyron region, she returned to Paris, where she now continues her practice. Each piece is entirely hand-crafted in stoneware. Her work is driven by a continuous exploration of materials, glazes and firing techniques, revealing colours, tonal variations and remarkable depth. This ongoing research has become one of the defining characteristics of her work.
Alongside her production of tableware for private clients and restaurants, her practice expanded in 2023 with a series of ceramic games. Beginning with a chess set, this exploration has since evolved to include dominoes, a backgammon set and tic-tac-toe. Positioned at the intersection of functional object and collectible design, these creations open a new field of investigation in which craftsmanship, materiality and everyday use enter into dialogue.
