EMMA DONNERSBERG

Penzai floor lamp

Price upon request

The Penzai Floor Lamp was born from the collaboration between Emma Donnersberg and artist Abel Carcamo. Inspired by the organic forms of the plant world and the art of bonsai, it develops a sculptural silhouette that seems to grow naturally in space. Handcrafted in France from a specific marble powder-based composite, this lamp combines artistic savoir-faire and material innovation. Its airy design plays with light and shadows to create a presence that is both poetic and architectural. More than just a light fixture, the Penzai Floor Lamp is a true functional sculpture, illustrating Emma Donnersberg's approach where nature, craftsmanship, and collectible design meet in a contemporary and timeless expression.

EMMA DONNERSBERG

Emma Donnersberg is a furniture designer and interior architect based between Paris and New York. Shaping a dreamlike universe guided by a creative philosophy rooted in spontaneity, her work is infused with a distinctive sense of spirituality. Deeply intuitive and almost meditative, her creative process gives rise to a highly personal approach to design.

Like the objects she creates—positioned at the intersection of art and design—Emma Donnersberg conceives interiors as complete ecosystems. Each piece plays an essential role within a harmonious whole, both visually and functionally. Drawing inspiration from the infinite richness of nature's forms, colours, patterns, and textures, she seeks above all to instill movement. Both functional and sculptural, her creations often appear to possess a life of their own.

Emma Donnersberg's work has earned international recognition and is regularly presented at leading contemporary design fairs, including PAD Paris and Design Miami, reflecting the growing influence of her distinctive creative universe.

"I conceive furniture as a living organism, at the crossroads of art and architecture. Each piece is born from a poetic gesture, inspired by nature and emotion. Bronze, marble, ceramic, and wood become sensitive languages—materials that breathe. My creations invite us to inhabit beauty and to experience matter as a living presence. Between poetry and structure, I seek to reveal the soul of the spaces I imagine."
